Seniors often need a slightly higher bed to allow them to use their quad muscles at a better angle for getting out of bed. Standard bed risers work but are often at a specific height or are only set up for beds that have four bed posts.

In this example the person had a beautiful wooden bed that used a bed width footboard for support. Bed risers don’t work here and so we built a custom riser using 2X8’s with a 1X8 sandwiched in between. In this way you can raise the bed to the specific height required without a lot of cost.
